address book won't launch

i have Panther installed. i recently installed it but this is first time i've tried to use it

    You didn't tell if you have repaired permissions and tried deleting the AB prefs. Do you have all the updates installed too?

    i repaired permssions. i can't find ab prefs. i have all the latest updates

    It's called "com.apple.addressbook.plist"

    Located in Home/library/preferences



    Try trashing the caches too.

    And if it crashes, what does the crash log say?
