? folder with panther when starting up

i was trying to reinstall some print drivers with panther. i ejected the disc during restart. now everytime i restart it shows the ? mark folder briefly but then continues to start up and everything works fine. how can i get it to stop doing this. but now it take longer to start becasue of this crap. FVCK! i'm pissed off

    Change the startup disk in system preferences.

    Folder-question mark thing also appears if the master boot record is corrupt
