I know that I am going to be abused for asking this question, are there any hints as to when the new G5 is going to be launched?..........I've been patiently waiting for months..

Ooh, I don't know. I've heard that G5's won't come out until mid-2005. Sorry about that

Do we need another Rev. b G5 thread?

    Methinks not.

The 26 floating around should be good enough.

And to answer your question, this summer, @ WWDC.

    No earlier than June.

What ya say we start call em "RARE - New G5 Thread!!!" cause then we can start selling them on ebay! They might finally be worth something!

Hmm hey mods.... What do you say you guys create a new topic area call it something like "Futar Hardware" and have it placed exactly where Future Hardware is now.

    - 1st those who feel the need to ALWAYS post EVERYTHING NEW to FH without even thinking "hey this topic doesn't fit here" just might be tricked into posting there instead.

    - 2nd instead of just locking useless / redundant threads and for those who fall into my 1st benefit you can just move em there and forget about em.

Would sure make for and interesting experiment anyway.

    I'll think about it.

In the meantime, please see any of the innumerable other threads on future IBM processors.
