Deactivate iBook video mirroring?

Hello, I have a 700MHz iBook with 16MB of VRAM. I have heard of people turing off the video mirroring so that an external display works as a second display rather than just mirroring the built in one. I searched Google and couldn't find out anything about how this is done. Does anyone know how to do this or where I can find information about this?

Funny story...I Googled it too, and found it.

Thanks for at least putting in some effort first though, you did more than most.

    Here ya go:

    iBook Monitor spanning hack

Word of warning, if you don't know what your doing at all, this might not be the best thing for you to attempt.

    Good luck

Thanks. I found that sometimes finding exactly what to search for can be hard. Anyway, Screen Spanning Doctor should do exactly what I want. Now all I need to do is go test it.
