Processor Card Swap

Can I take the proessor card out of my PowerMac 9600 (Dual 200Mhz card) and use it in a PowerMac 8500? I'm thinking of upgrading the 9600, and don't want to waste the processor. I have a 120Mhz card in the other machine.
