How can I add Speech voices?

How can I add voices to the Apple Speakable Items?



And where can I find a Scottish male voice to add there? Glasgow, Shrek - any Scottish voice will do.

    I know of zero third parties that have developed additional voices.



    It's possible, though. I remember seeing an API for it years ago. It's just that no one cares enough to bother, I think.
