battery percent dropping slowly even with power adapter plugged in

I noticed on my powerbook that after one week, the percentage on the battery icon went down 97%. One more wekk which is today, it is down to 96%. Is this normal for the battery to slowly wear down? I will presume it is normal but, can you please explain to me why does it happen. Thanks

    In general, a fully charged battery will show between 95-100% charge. I wouldn't worry too much about it. But you do need to make sure you let your battery get used some every once in a while.



    You could reset the PMU if you really wanted to. There's a post about it in the sticky up at the top of this forum.
