Latest iPod update not compatible with MacDrive?

Has anybody heard this? A mate of mine (Dr Deep, you know who you are!) has updated his iPod with the update dated 2004-4-28 and now whenever he plugs his mac formatted iPod into a PC that has MacDrive installed, it tries to re-set itself.



I am going to hold off updating until this is proven incorrect. Anybody else had any problems?
