iMac HardDrive/Memory Questions :
Greetings!
is the hard drive in the lcd iMac replaceable?
also, is there only ONE slot the end-user has access to, for adding ram? The other invisible slot is pre-installed by the manufacturer? Does that mean the maximum ram is 768? since 256 is the max from apple, and 512 is the max of any ram? specs. on the ram from apple? [nanoseconds, cl/ras/cas]
thanks!!!

[hard disk] : how would you open it to replace the HD?
As far as opening up the new iMac and adding a new HD I am not sure because I don't own one. Do a search on http://www.google.com/mac for upgrading imacs I am sure you will find sites with people that have modified their iMac.

here's a pic.
the HD is harder to get access too. the RAM slot is in the lower left.
NOTE: DO NOT TAKE THIS MACHINE APART WITHOUT READING THE .PDF ON HOW TO DO IT FIRST!!!!
you will at minimum cause constant kernal panics if you do it wrong, and have a good chance of cooking your CPU.
I would like to upgrade the HD & memory......
