Opinions on the new 12" PB?
Hello everyone,
I want a small really portable laptop and I am therefore considering buying the new 12" Powerbook. I have some questions that I hope you could help me with:
What is the screen like? Is it the same screen, but smaller, as on the 15" and 17" models or is it of other or inferior quality?
I understand that the resolution quite low. Is it sufficient for working with images from my digital camera if these pictures are 1600x1200 and up to 2200xsomething?
What about the reports that the laptop gets very hot, almost too hot to have on the lap? Is it true that the aluminium casing is designed to lead off heat and that it is because of this that it gets hot?
And if it gets hot, how often do the fans go on and how loud are they?
How powerful is it? I use Photoshop, MS Office, internet, email and the occasional game. In terms of gaming performance, the video card should be sufficient but what about processor power?
Any comments on build-quality?
