the easiest way is to make sure both are up to 4.5 first. then, go to preferences, sharing, check look for shared music and share music boxes. its that easy, my pc that has no music sees my mac itunes and puts it with a sharing icon in the left hand side of the itunes window.
Maybe a better question is, how do I network my Mac and PC together, so that they can see each other in the first place?
Les.
If what you're asking is how do you use iTunes's built in Rendezvous sharing, then it's as easy as making sure they're on the same network with correct IP addresses (which should be taken care of simply by having a DHCP server of some kind).
If on the other hand you're asking how do you have the exact same -library- with two itunes. Then that's not possible.
How do I network a PC and a Mac together so that I can see, and use, the Mac's iTunes library from the PC?

(Dr Deep, do you know?)
If your question is more "how do i network a mac to a pc" and both machines have RJ45 network cards, you could link them directly with a twisted pair ethernet cable. You can usually buy these in any compy type shop. You plug each end into a computer and twiddle the network settings on each machine to have the same subnet address and similar ip addresses with only the last digits of the ip address being different. Set up network sharing on the PC and the Mac and you should be in business.
