10.3.3 Get Info reeeeal slow?

Anyone else have/had problems with Get Info in 10.3.3? I'm not sure if my problems started with 10.3.3 or not, as I just recently noticed it and dont use Get Info all that often. When I mean slow I mean beach ball finder lock up and about 15-20 sec to spit out the size of a 120kb folder with 2 items in there. I don't have any wacky finder/UI mods installed that could be interferring.

I've tried repairing permissions, single-user mode fsck (after disabling journaling) and nothing helps (nor finds anything wrong). Haven't tried bringing my 10.3 CD to run Disk Util from that yet... but isn't that basically the same as running fsck?

WTH is going on here. Any suggestions?

The system in question...

Dual 800 Quicksilver

1.25 GB Crucial RAM

80 GB hd with two equal partitions (journaled)

both partitions have plenty of space left

OS X 10.3.3 up to date

Dammit... I think it might be Norton Anti Virus.

Seems like it only occurs (need to do more testing) with NAV Auto-protect on. If this wasnt a work computer I'd just trash that hunk o' junk NAV altogether.
