Embedded WMV in pages , way to make it open a M$ Player instead?

Hi there,

A bike site I visit uses wmv (either streamed mms or hosted wmv ones) for vid clips but forces the clips to be shown inside the page, that causes the clip to be scaled down size wise and puts an overhead on safari making it and playback a bit slower.. I can look at the source and copy and paste the url into a Media player window and make it run thru that, (making it faster and full size) is there a way to make safari launch the app and run it thru that instead of playing it webpage inline? (changing the helper app using something like "more internet"?)

Thx in advance.

That's odd I want the opposite! It seems whenever Safari encounters Windoze Media it says it can't open it and volunteers to have Windoze Media Player open it with that dialogue box. Which I find annoying and disruptive. Of course IE won't do this. It's just like MSN and Opera. M$ has intentionally hardcoded the Internet to not work on anything but IE on WIndows. It sucks.
