What browsers are compatible with bank sites? A friend of mine says that none of the browsers work with his bank accounts online. He says that http 1.1 can't be found. I suggested that he upgrade his Safari. He called them "Windows components".. lol.. Would Camino work for this purpose?

    I'm sure it depends on the bank, but IE, Mozilla, and Netscape all work fine for mine...



    [edit: I use OS9, so I dont use Safari or Camino at home, but I seem to recall that I could use Safari when I was using a OS X machine at my old job.]

    Has he tried "spoofing" his browser in the debug menu?

    lol.. He's a mac n00b so I don't think he knew about that. He'd be too confused if I tried to explain. lol
