Quick Airport Question

I'm getting an airport and I was wondering if I need a router. Here's the setup:

eMac and a Powerbook (still being shipped )

The eMac needs a wired connection, and the pbo wireless. Can I go Cable Modem>

Airport>

wireless to pbbok and wired back to emac,

or do I need a router in addition to all of that?

No. The Airport is your router. Plug your cable modem's ethernet into Airport's WAN port. Airport will accept the cable modem's DHCP connection, turn around and broadcast its own DHCP, which you can then connect your PowerBook to. Connect your eMac to Airport's LAN jack. Slam, bam, thank you, Ma'am. You'll laugh at just how easy it is.
