12" PowerBook Screen...?

I'm contemplating getting a 12" PowerBook, but have one question.
Firstly, people are saying that the latest model 12"PowerBooks have a nicer screen, in other threads here.
Today I was using a 12" iBook and noticed that the screen on that, was a bit perculiar, and they all seem to be the same.
When you sit in front of them, the part of the screen that is directly in front of you is a bit brighter and clearer than the rest. If you move your head around a bit, the bright "patch" moves also, so that the brightest part of the screen is directly in front of your eyes. This circular "patch" covers about 2/3 or 3/4 of the entire screen.
Is this the same for the new 12" PowerBooks?
