"Normal" template file on office x

in Mac Software edited January 2014

I edited the preferences for my normal template (changed the default language) on office x, but when i tried to quit word, it said that the normal template was opened as read-only. And prompted me to save as some .dot file. I want these new settings to be the default ones. does anyone know where this normal template file is so i can remove the read-only thing?

there is a "Microsoft User Data" folder there, but I can't find the file i want.. What I'm looking for is the file that keeps the stuff like default language for new documents, default fonts etc..
