Apple Should Forget About Canada iTMS
Service providers such as Bell Sympatico and other companies have already opened music stores. Unless Apple opens the store very soon, I see Apple getting very little attention in Canada if they do decide to open a store later this year or next year (if they ever do).
When service providers as big as Sympatico offer good deals to their own Sympatico users, I'd be surprised if they moved to iTMS.

But iTMS is all about the iPods man. Sympatico doesn't offer that "one two punch"
You'd be surprised at how many Apple users there are up here in Canada.
When I saw the thread title I assumed it was because downloading/uploading is currently nice and legal here so people are less likely to be guilted into paying.
Personally, I hope iTMS comes here. If not, I'll continue to happily download music.

Plus there is no physical brick and mortar store to build. It's more administrative and negotiations thats just required.

Yup, there are more Mac users per capita in Canada than the U.S. As soon as Apple releases it, Puretracks and everything else will go straight down the toilet.
Whats happening with Napster by the way, are they still alive and kicking?

Napster just released thier online music store in Canada (http://www.napster.ca/). Thats the second time they have beat Apple to a market outside of the USA. I wonder whats keeping Apple?
No Apple support. Not surprised.
Come on Apple Canada...I know you don't have much of a voice, but can we see a iTMS sometime before the autumn rolls around?
