What does this mean to Apple, QuickTime and MPEG 4, if anything? Is this a move away from open standards, giving MS control over how TV is recorded and presented?

    Bye TiVo. Their HQ will be moved to Redmond soon after they're bought. Buy ReplayTV. MS has higher paid lawyers. Bye MPEG-4 on TV soon?
