Has Harmon acquired JBL?

If these sound anything like my JBLs, then you won't be disappointed.

JBL and Harman Kardon are one and the same. . . sort of. It's like the difference between Pontiac and Buick.

Those satellites look awfully whimpy. I hate systems with a big sub and nothing else. The Klipsch systems don't look as nice but they have some beefy satellites.

    edit:

40W with 16 at the satellites? Not too bad, proportionally. I would guess that they sound similar to the iSub with Soundsticks.

How much says those "photos" of the speaker sets are actually 3D renders. . . . Hey, nothing's wrong with that!

Looks like it's poised underneath the Pro Speakers + iSub combination...budget 3 piece speakers with aesthetic pizazz.

    <a href="http://www.harman-multimedia.com/"; target="_blank">http://www.harman-multimedia.com/; 'Learn More':

Both satellites also have down firing LEDs for a cool desktop look in minimum lighting environments.

DAMN! thats cool. But where are the LEDs?

Saw these guys at MacWorld NY02. They are really nice. If you touch the little guy on the right (or left if you are perverse) the volume goes up, or down without using the keyboard. Base and Treble are on the Bug Guy, but those are twist sticks==those tusks sticking up.

They are really good looking in person. I agree, though, White is the best color and they make an imac perfect.

I might buy the silver set to replace my Apple Pro Speakers and iSub combo that I'm currently using on my PowerMac. Tired of not being able to control bass. They look like a pretty good buy!

The white ones would look great next to an iMac or iBook. The blue ones...well I guess PC users can now have stylish speakers considering none of their other peripherals match anyway.
