just installed it and am up and running with no problems to speak of. Expose, for me, seems to work a little faster/smoother ...but I could be on crack..Im on a BW G3 300 with a 16 mb rage 128 card, 512 ram. maybe the open GL update has something to do with it.
This update is solid. Got some nice performance boosts in various areas, even on my G5, so I imagine it will be equally good for G4-loving Macheads as well. One of Apple's better update efforts IMO.
I'm pretty sure I've seen silent failing of secure afp connections as being one security flaw which has been criticised in the past.
Beyond that, seems to be running fine atm on my MMD867; boot times were usual, or slightly better, and for the first time in a long time I didn't get the leafblower at the start of boot (hooray!)
Safari's a touch faster, but that's not surprising if you read this blog.
My PowerBook was having problems for the past few weeks, fan always on, and now that's fixed. But I noticed that my OpenGL performance is definitely slower.
Certainly is running nice on my 867 Quicksilver. Safari is noticeably faster as well, and I see subtile improvements in other areas. My VIA based USB 2 card still does not work tho. (Shows up as a USB 2 card in System Profiler, but does not actually work). But besides that is great.
The update has now blew away the abilty for me to Minimize, Maximize or close via the the gumdrops on the left hand side of a dialog box. I see them but when I hover over with my mouse it doesn't display the X - +. Anybody have any suggestions?

Safari is faster, but isn't this whole "the computer seems faster" happening because of the optimize that happens at the end of the update?
No. The optimize phase is merely the OS looking at which dynamic libraries are used by each app, and filling in a table for fast lookup later. Basically, all it does is eliminate the need to search the drive for those libraries later when they're actually needed.
