Recommendation for an external display

Hi, I just ordered a rev. C PB 12" and want to get an external display for more screen estate. I've looked at the Samsung 173P which got excellent reviews, however, the software is Windoze only. I am also looking at the Apple Cinema Displays, both the 17" and the 20". Most people say that the ACDs are not worth it, but I do like their aesthetics much better than other generic displays. If not the ACDs, can anyone recommend a good display that looks good with the PB? Thanks.

    I've seen the samsungs get mediocre reviews. Well, at least the 19 inch models.



    You should also check out the Formac displays (1740 for example). They have really good image quality. www.formac.com

    Otherwise, most LCD's that aren't bargain-basement products have pretty good image quality, and you can calibrate them to a fairly good degree using Apple's built-in calibrator.
