Software for clipping songs for loops?

hey, i used to make flash animations on my PC, and used a program called GoldWave to make music-loops. is there any sort of program on macs where i can do the same? basically, i just want to be able to snip out parts of songs that can be looped. thanks.

    lol check out garageband (beginner), soundtrack (pro user), or logic (you have too much money). i laughed because all we talked about for a couple months was gband and its looping.
