OmniWeb 5: how to turn off speech?

I had speech control turned on in OmniWeb 4 when I installed OmniWeb 5. Now, whenever I open OmniWeb the speech control appears on screen, and there seems to be no way of getting rid of it since OmniWeb 5 apparently doesn't support speech.

    Speech is still in OW5, it is in Preference->General Preferences, it is the bottom one.
