i'm looking for a free or cheap animation program, i've tried flash mx, is there any other good ones?

    it's cheaper than flash and for character animation it has bones.

    Depends on what you want to do with the animation.



    Toon Boom is an alternative to Flash MX, built for animators.



    If you're looking for a powerful 3D animation app, Blender's free (www.Blender3D.org).



    I also played with Hash Animation Master and was pretty pleased with it. www.hash.com
