Harddrive disappeared
I have an old PowerMac 9500. Connected to this computer, is an also quite old SCSI external disk. A few days ago this disk started to behave strange, and when I booted up the computer today, its icon had disappared from the desktop. I have tried Disk First Aid, but with no luck - the disk does not even show up there.
I expect there is some problem in mounting the disk. I have checked the cables and all the LEDs indicate that at least some parts of the disk is still working. I have a copy of DiskWarrior, but I have the same problem there, the disk does not show up, and therefore cannot be repaired.
Is it possible to fix this, or do I have to buy a new harddrive?
