holy crap. ummm ya there just a couple threads here and there about this. Spend like 5 seconds browsing.
edit: sigh... ok just this once i'll be nice. recently steve jobs was asked price drops, and he just smiled, so they could be anytime, but i think they'll happen at WWDC. check all the WWDC threads for speculation, but dont get pulled into all the BS about video iPods--they're not happening soon. Personally, I would wait til June 28th to see what happens, then if nothing comes out and no new rumors arise, go ahead and buy.
Keep in mind these are just MY thoughts, so follow them at your own risk.
Upgrades, yeah there was something in the news yesterday about Steve Jobs going ballistic and nuking Toshiba headquarters just for fun. Apparently, it had something to do with Apple being a buyer for their 60Gb 1.8 inch drives.....
Anyway, rather than starting another thread in the wrong Forum, check Digital Hub first.

But learn what post goes where and join threads that are a close match if you can or else you'll get much of the above all over again...
Can we spare the hostility for actual trolls as opposed to mere newbies?
As per comments above please check our Digital Hub forum for iPod info.
