The WSJ has a paid-registration-only transcript of Jobs' comments at D. It sounds like there was a lot of interesting stuff discussed, from a rumor-monger's perspective anyway. Does anyone have the full transcript?



I'm not sure if it's appropriate to post the full transcript here, but maybe in pieces?

    Yeah I'm curious too. Sounds like a PR opportunity for Jobs. When Jobs starts talking about copyright it leads me to believe that he wants Apple to become even more cozy or at the very least amiable to working with Hollywood in future endeavours.



    I don't believe for one minute that Apple would slow HD-DVD recording. In 2-3 years when HD hits there are going to be so many indie filmmakers shooting HD and looking for a good way to deliver their work. Neither format will make much of penetration without recorders.
