Problems with my super drive

If anyone has any ideas as to my dillema here I would be more than greatful to hear a solution that won't first cost me a $75 diagnosis at the apple store.



I'm having trouble burning CDs on my super drive, G4 power pc model from a couple years back. I keep getting the following error message...



"The device drained its buffer without burn underrun protection."



Thanks again for any possible solution to my problem.

    I'm using iTunes to burn cds when I get that error message.

    Weird, the only thing I can think of is burning at a lower speed.

    Yea it is weird. I just tried again at 4x speed and it checks media just fine and starts writing then right away cancels and gives me that error message. And on top of that the disc is ruined.
