DVD Player and 10.3.4

For some reason my DVD player app on my G4 450 has stopped working. Starts up and before it can draw the window it quiits. The log says thread 1 crashed. Interactual player is dead too. on my PB I have no problems and it too has 10.3.4.



Tried to use Pacifist to extract the original DVD player but I still got crashes. VLC will play the video but no audio.



Any ideas?

    Does it only happen in your account?



    Try logging into to someone else's account or create a test account and test it.

    all accounts do the same thing so I know the problem is in the system library and not the user library.
