When you buy a book from iTunes, is the file broken up into chapters or is it one long file?

    depends...

it is usually broken up into 30ish mb segments...

for example... My Life is 3 2-hour 28MB segments...

The files also remember where you are. So if you are listening to it on an ipod you can turn it off. When you start listening it will continue where you left off.

I also think that when you sync back up again the position is also sync'd. So you can continue listening on your computer where you left off too..

    Cool stuff

    Shame audiobooks are so expensive.
