i-movie will not export to camera- worked fine untill I upgraded to FCPHD...any help?

I had a project in iMovie 4 that I wanted to export to tape but after the camera gets ready I get a LOST CONTACT with camera message. Firewire cable & Camera works fine with my other Mac . The only change was I upgraded to FCPHD on same machine. Is there some setting I need to fix? I tried reloading iMovie 4 but came up with same error ( I can control the camera and import footage but it will not export to camera !?! Worked with iMovie for 2 years and this is the first time I had this problem. Any tips ? I tried another camera already...
