Option + Delete in cocoa text fields

I just discovered that in cocoa apps like text edit, if you hold option + delete, it deletes whole words! It ma not be new to you, but I've never seen this trick posted anywhere.

    Kinda cool deletes the left most word.



    It works in every app doens't it?





    I kind remember this from some other time...but I never use it.

    That's been around since OS 9 I believe... Very handy. Option-forward delete does the rightmost word. Try holding option when using the arrow keys in text fields/boxes, too.
