LCD wierdness

I have a Philips 17" LCD that has gone a bit screwy, Exactly one half of the screen has set itself to 16bit colour, while the other half is correctly displaying 32bit. Also there are 3 bands of faint green noise down the problem side that get worse depending on the colour the pixels display. Is this common? Ive checked the connections, and connected a different monitor to the computer, so I know its not the graphics card.



AND, Im 1 week out of warranty!!!!!!!

    Just had an email back from Philips, apparently I paid for a 3 year on site swap out warranty. Woohooo!
