Animation tool for OS X

I'm doing this project to make an animated series package in 36 hours, and one of the things we want to try is to use the money we raise to buy some of our biggest supporters Powerbooks with animation software. To help train up some new recruits for future ventures, if you will. I know all about Maya, Lightwave and Blender for OS X, but does anyone know any good cel-based animation programs that we could buy with the package? From the looks of it, our biggest supporters are all traditional animators, so I want to get a head-start there.

Ideas, anyone?

Not really familiar with it, but you may take a look at Toon Boom Studio.

Erm. After checking out ToonBoom, it appears to be quite good for what I'm looking for. Are you saying "forget it" regarding that software, or "forget it" regarding something entirely different?

Forget it. As in I posted something, and later retracted it.
