Real-world 1.5 GHz G4 battery life

Hi, I'm looking to hear from users of the 1.5 GHz G4 15-inch PowerBook w/ SuperDrive out there regarding real-world battery life. Apple claims "a 4.5-hour battery," but I must admit to being skeptical. I'm thinking of replacing my aged iBook and battery life is a concern. Cheers.

AE and blutoof both use battery power to run, more things you have running then more the draw ..

In general usage 2hrs 50 on battery with screen brightness at a comfortable viewing would be pretty good.

I get from 2 to 3 hours as well, but watching a DVD or playing a game requiring processing power (e.g. Unreal Tournament) usually means that you'll be happy if the battery lasts even 2 hours.
