Application icon zoom on launch

I think this is called zoom rect or something to that effect...it is driving me crazy since I had to replace my HD. Application icons seem to zoom up when double clicked.....



I vaguely remember doing something in the terminal to rid my computer of this annoyance...I am running 10.3.4 on a 1 gig Tibook with a gig of ram and 60 gig (new) HD.



Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    TinkerTool has an option to disable icon zooming.

    This is exactly what I needed...also allowed me to add the double scroll arrows on both ends which I like too.......I appreciate it!
