PowerBook G5 Drivers

in Future Apple Hardware edited January 2014
in an apple underground community i read of several people trying to run downloaded versions of Tiger from the web and most without success. One person reported kernal panic errors loading Tiger, with a "failure to load Powerbook5,2 drivers"

Powerbook5,2 drivers has nothing to do with a PowerBook G5.

Apple gives each machine a unique ID and that's what that is.

I forgot which thread it was explained in (tried to search), but this same topic came up just before the WWDC when people were speculating on a G5 iMac.

    It's nothing, please move along.

Any news about a new Powerbook is good news, even if it means nothing
