iTunes problem

I've been organising my iTunes library (sorting out ID tags, renaming songs etc) and while all of that is working fine, I have now found that if I am playing a song, once that song finishes iTunes just stops. It won't move on to the next item in the library. Also the arrow buttons don't work, they just stop iTunes playing. I think I must have unwittingly hit a key combo that has disabled playthrough. This means I have to start each song one by one. I can't play an entire album either - just one song at a time etc. I've looked in the keyboard shortcuts help file, but have so far been unable to find anything that can cure this. Quitting the app doesn't fix the problem either.

Any help much appreciated.

there are some buttons in the lower left corner of your itunes window, click the third one. you can switch between, playing a playlist one, repeating a playlist and (thats what you have selected i think) play a track once). moving the mouse above the button shows tooltips that explain what the button does.
