Word v.X

My new poerbook 12" (latest revisiton) has been feeling hot in the left front corner rectenly. I have been working on a large word documnet and some elementary graphics programs. 95% word use though. I opened activity monitor, and it shows that word is using >25% of the processor potential all by itself. Doesn't matter if I am not typing, it's doing something. Close the big document and that processor use falls of to zero. What's the dealio? It's a 1MB document at most (and it's going to get a lo bigger). Is this going to tax the hell out of my machine?

What could it be doing anyways? 'Spose autocorrect is checking even though there's no changes made to the document?

Yes, that and live word count. You can turn both off in Word's preferences.
