I loaded Java 1.4.1 no problem. But when I go to load the latest 1.4.2 it says that I must load 1.4.1 first. What is up with this?
Any ideas?
I just updated from Jag to Panther.

Doesn't Panther already have the latest version of Java?

This is a bug in the installer. You need to remove the QuicktimeJavaUpdate package from the Receipts directory for the installer to work.

I wasted an hour with this on a customer's machine last week before I found this knowledge base article.
