Airport woes
All of a sudden the airport on my ibook seems to have taken a nosedive. I used to get a good signal in my living room which was two rooms away from my airport base station, now I get hardly anything and most of the time no signal! 
I can now only get signal if I'm in the same room, rather defeating the wireless technology. I hadn't installed any new software before this happened, and as far as I know, nothing has changed. Since the problem (which has been happening for about two weeks now) I've upgraded to the latest Airport patches available in the Software Update panel.
My ibook is using OS9.2, but the base station software is administered from my G4 using OSX 10.1.5
What I need to know is: is this a hardware problem and how do I go about finding out? Is there some diagnostic I could perform without sending my ibook in to be repaired...
Any help would be most appreciated!
