"Force" eject an old G3 iMac
I have an old 'snow' colored G3 iMac. Does anyone know how to force eject a disc out of the drive upon start up? This computer has no operating system on it yet, and refuses to properly boot off the disc that is stuck in it. Holding down the eject button doesn't do a damn thing. Anybody able to help me out here?

here how you do it :
1. Boot Imac, after scheme, press and hold down ( option , apple , O , F ) keys. Yes hold them down til you see a white screen with text.
2. you will then type; "eject cd" . with out the qoutes and press enter.
3. wait a couple of secs and cd will be ejected.
4., once your CD is ejected and is in safe keeping, you can continue to boot by typing "mac-boot" and press enter.
Or you can shut the unit down by pressing "shut-down" and press enter.
There, now was that hard, Naw,, it was easy.
