I deleted the system preferences application.
Don't ask why! It was an accident.
How can I restore it ? (without reinstalling OSX ;o)
thanks

Easiest thing would be to copy it from another Mac running the same version of Mac OS X - it's only ~400k.

hmmmm, the problem is that i'm from a country where a mac is very rare.
so i have no friends with a mac here.
would it be a problem if somebody sent "System Preferences.app" by email ?
here's my temporary aadress until it gets spammed
cauchy_f at yahoo.de
and my OSX is 10.3.4 german - but the language is not important.
if somebody could do this, i would be very happy

You helped me a lot, because I have no time to reinstall OSX
at the moment (exams) and living without System Preferences
is really uncomfortable.
