DVD Player flicker when using two monitors

I've got my new rev c 12"powerbook hooked up to my new 20" display via the mini dvi-dvi connector, and for some reason there is a terrible flicker when I play DVDs in DVD Player. It happens with both Video_TS folders and actual discs, so its not a problem with the DVD drive. This flicker has happened in both clamshell and dual monitor setups. Is my graphics card having a hard time or is it a bug in DVD Player? I havent seen the flicker in any other apps.
