Garageband and keyboard

Hi,

I was wondering if when you connect a keyboard to garageband if you hear the notes through your computer's speakers (in my case a powerbook)....while you play on the keyboard.



If not, does that mean I have to buy speakers seperately for the keyboard? I really don't feel like dishing out the extra money but I will if I have to.

    If you plug in a midi keyboard, you can hear the sound of the currently selected Software instrument track when you press the keys. You can also download midikeys, which simulates having a midi keyboard connected, and try it out for yourself.
