Doom 3 on current PowerBook?

Recently bought my first Mac (12 " PowerBook 1.33 GHz) which is also my first notebook and I can honestly say this is the finest computer I have ever owned. To think that something so small can do everything I need amazes me after coming from the land of Sony and HP towers and bulky CRT monitors.



Just out of curiosity, though, does anyone have a good idea if I will be able to run Doom 3 on it or not? I am not a "gamer" but did have a good time playing the earlier versions years ago and thought about trying the new one when it comes out for the Mac. Thanks!

    Congrats on the new powerbook, right now they haven't even given a release date for Doom 3 for the mac just "when it's done", so we don't even know the minimum system specs yet. If the PC versions any indication you'll be able to run it but on low detail settings, which, apparently, doesn't even matter that much because the game looks so good.
