New dualies : Benchmarks here

Please, to all new G4 owners, can you make some comparisons and benchmarks of your new machine and post them here ?



I need to compare the new 867 MHz and the new 1 GHz before buying. Also, some comparisons with older versions (like the 933 MHz and the old 1 GHz) would be much appreciated.



I'm having a very hard time choosing between these machines.



Can you test 3D games (like Quake, maybe Otto-Matic) ? Can you test Illustrator or FreeHand ? Or any other benchmarks.

I might get to run my dual gig through the ropes tonight, but as a side note Ottomatic doesn't come with the machines anymore (to my dismay). Or atleast it's not preinstalled.

Nope games didn't on my G3 B&W or my Duall Ghz last update. So i'd guess the games are more an imac thing....kind of like no AppleWorks

I'll run all kinds of bench tests... if I ever get my dual 1 GHz. Still says "being assembled."

i got my 17 inch studio display today but my duel ghz machine is still being assembled <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

This is a media making machine. I ripped MP3s last night at the Jaguar Premiere in Palo Alto. the dual 867 ripped a range of 9x to about 18x. The dual GB did 12x to 22x. I expect the dual 1.25 will do 15x/28x FROM the SuperDrive. Once I add the Yamaha CRW-F1 which reads @44X, It may be even faster. No prototype/first build 1.25 GHz Macs are in the store to test yet.
