Scanning Multiple Photos at Once?

I remember Canon scanners having the option to put several photos on the scanner bed but with space between and the software would automatically scan the photos as seperate files.

I have an Epson Photo scanner and have a lot of photos to scan but haven't been able to figure out a way to do the same as Canon does.

Does anyone know an easy way to do this?

I know the Epson 4870 does this, at least if you put in the right tray. So this is supported by some Epson software. Also most AGFA scanners do this by default.

The problem is, I don't own one myself. A friend does. I'll ask him as soon as I can. :-)

My friends says you just have to individually select each photo, and then the software does the rest. Did this help?
