Logic Hit Kit question

I've just received a Logic Hit Kit and I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience of using this software?

As I don't have iLife '04 with Garageband, i'd like to know if the two apps are similar? I believe Apple owns Logic now, so are the two apps comparable or does Garageband have any distinct advantages over Logic?

    about how much was that in US$ do you know? Because if it's way cheaper than Logic, I'd buy it

    Well, the Hit Kit retails here at GBP£30 which is around US$55, tho I got it on offer at GBP£20 I think thats a lot cheaper than the full version of Logic and I believe the Hit Kit software has a lot more functionality than the basic Logic Fun.
